“Absolutely loved this workshop! Easy to find, amazing hosts, like a proper kitchen setup and you make the stroopwaffles from scratch. You receive a certificate once you’ve made them which is a nice touch. Also, they provided tea, coffee & water and there are clean toilets. Book it! Considering they are charging 13 euros at van wondren per waffle it’s definitely worth the money!”

“Taking this workshop, gives you that extra insight to making of perfumes and finding what scents you like. Arielle is very knowledgeable and her energy is so calming. She starts it off with breathing exercise which creates a wholesome, war and relaxed atmosphere.”

“Provide a wooden blank and acrylic paints, then you can do a workshop. The blanks were not primed and the final work was not given a final gloss. Everything looked dull. There is only one shoe to paint for decorative purposes. Tough luck if you make a mistake. There are ideas on site but no stencils for the inexperienced. Instructions only in English. As I have been painting myself for over 20 years, I brought various skills with me. For beginners, the result can ultimately be disappointing. Atmosphere was relaxed, music too loud. There were drinks and cookies for refreshment. You don't learn any background information or techniques for painting…”

The breaks we had to take in the process of making the cheese allowed us to do some cheese tasting which was awesome on one break and on the other break we were able to learn about how the famous Dutch Wooden Shoes are made and even got an old fashioned demonstration on how that is done! We had a fantastic day and would recommend this activity to everyone!”
