“The highlights of the day were visiting locations not included in the price of the tour: the old and new churches in Delft and the Mauritshuis Museum (Girl with the Pearl Earring) in The Hague. These extras cost us an additional 60€ but it was impossible not to see these "on our own" time during the tour. The Delft factory tour was a bit disappointing and Rotterdam could have been skipped entirely. Our guide had basic knowledge of the cities and was probably very happy to let us explore in our own, which was fine with us. We understand that new guides need to build up their knowledge of local…”
