“The highlights of the day were visiting locations not included in the price of the tour: the old and new churches in Delft and the Mauritshuis Museum (Girl with the Pearl Earring) in The Hague. These extras cost us an additional 60€ but it was impossible not to see these "on our own" time during the tour. The Delft factory tour was a bit disappointing and Rotterdam could have been skipped entirely. “The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. Experience with viator was less than satisfactory. I booked a tour for Madurodam originally. I got an email the day before asking if the d be interested to do the Delph factory and I responded by saying I’d like to do Madurodam. Viator canceled my reservation and and sent email indicating the same. I had booked this is advance and the last minute cancellation left us in limbo. When I contacted them again, they booked the one with Delph factory but charged me more than what I had originally paid which was very disappointing. “Great double decker bus trip, with a tour group of 50. Rotterdam was OK. The Royal Delft (Delft Blue) pretty was really interesting - both it's history and the quality of the pottery The Hague, the lunch area and shops were all great as well. Rick, our guide, did a great job of communicating all the information relating to the whole trip. The only downside was he had to say everything twice - once in English and then again in Spanish.
